How to Join

Step 1

Since the Fort Snelling Squadron meets on the 934th Air Force Reserve Base, anyone coming on base needs to have their name cleared for the base security list.  Please contact Major Simon Fenton at SimonFentonCAP@gmail.com before the Wednesday prior to the Monday you would like to visit.  Information needed includes full legal name (including full middle name), date of birth, and if a US Citizen.  Anyone 16 and older need to also include their driver’s license number (and state in which issued).  If a driver's license number is not available, then a valid passport number will work.  You will receive a confirmation once your name has been cleared for the list.  Please do not attempt to go through security to get onto base unless you have received this confirmation of clearance.

Specific directions to the building:

Take highway 62 (on the north side of the Minneapolis / St. Paul International Airport) to the 34th Ave Exit.  Go south on 34th Ave to be directed into the security check to get onto the base.  Follow all speed limit signs to the letter of the law.  Once through security, drive straight ahead and at the second intersection (Kittyhawk Ave) take a right.  Then take the first left on 5th street.  The building we meet in is on the right just after Apollo Ave.  There are three possible places to park:
1.  Just south of the building in a parking lot - to get there take a right on Apollo Ave and then the first left into the parking lot
2.  Just east of the building on the street - to get there take the next right after Apollo Ave (street not named) and park on the right hand side of the street.
3.  Just northeast of the building in a parking lot - to get there continue driving on 5th Ave and take the first left into the parking lot.

This is a pin on Google maps for the building.  HOWEVER, THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT, DO NOT USE THAT PIN TO ROUTE YOU TO THE BUILDING AS GOOGLE MAPS MIGHT TRY TO TAKE YOU THROUGH THE 133RD AIR NATIONAL GUARD SECURITY ENTRANCE.  Instead, use this pin on Google maps for the 934th Air Force Reserve Base security entrance and then follow the above directions to get to the building on base.

Step 2
